Our Universal Flange Adaptors are designed to join pipes of different outside diameters (OD) with the same or different nominal bore.
The corrosion protection scheme for Refloworx’s universal flange adaptors is available in Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE), Epoxy paint and Galvanized finish as standard. Other coatings options are available on request.
The universal flange adaptors’ application ranges from the transmission of potable water, wastewater and sewage to the marine, mining, oil, gas and general industrial sectors.
REFLOWORX Universal Gaskets, EPDM or NBR materials, are designed to provide a leak-tight seal while allowing thermal expansion and contraction of the pipe up to 5mm per gasket. However, using lubrication with a suitable, non-toxic soap solution is advised to facilitate the installation and avoid any potential damage due to load while seating. The universal flange adaptors can be manufactured with double or full sleeves to prevent end pullout on PE and GRP pipes.
